The 2026 Daphne Award gala takes place at the Tivoli Concert Hall in Copenhagen on 14th of May 2026. Lang Lang, Serena Sáenz and Jonathan Tetelman will perform alongside the Tivoli Copenhagen Philharmonic and conductor Alondra de la Parra.

Alondra de la Parra
Alondra de la Parra is a Mexican conductor known for her powerful musical presence and deep social engagement. She currently serves as Chief Conductor of the Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid (ORCAM) and has led many of the world’s foremost orchestras, including the Orchestre de Paris and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

As founder of Festival PAAX GNP in Mexico and creator of the educational initiative Armonía Social, she is dedicated to making music a tool for empowerment and inclusion. Beyond the concert hall, she actively advocates for the rights of women and children in Mexico, using her platform to promote equality and cultural connection through music.

the Orchestra
Tivoli Copenhagen Philharmonic
Copenhagen Philharmonic is one of Denmark’s oldest and most dynamic orchestras, with a history dating back to 1843 and the founding of Tivoli Gardens. Today, the orchestra consists of 65 full-time musicians and serves as the regional symphony orchestra for Sjælland, Lolland and Falster. It performs major symphonic concerts at the Royal Danish Academy of Music Concert Hall in Copenhagen and presents a wide range of innovative formats, from immersive education projects to cross-genre collaborations.

In summer, the orchestra performs as Tivoli Copenhagen Philharmonic, continuing a tradition of concerts in Tivoli that spans more than 180 years. Copenhagen Phil’s Chief Conductor is Christoph Gedschold, with Thomas Dausgaard as Honorary Guest Conductor.
